Greetings Friends!

The elementary school years will be some of the best years in your child’s life.  Your son or daughter will also be faced with many important decisions and most likely some difficult problems. I am here to assist your child in having a positive and productive experience while in school.

Our office offers a wide variety of services.  One such service implemented is a “Developmental Guidance Program” in grades K-5.  This program begins during the early years assisting students in developing responsibility for themselves and their actions, developing interpersonal skills, and developing their decision-making and problem solving skills.

As the counselor, I also lead lessons monthly in every classroom on a variety of topics (communication, career awareness, personal safety, conflict resolution, study skills, etc.)

Other responsibilities of the counselor include leading small groups for students who have specific needs such as getting along with others, grief support, divorce, etc.  When needed I see students on an individual basis also.  Students may be self-referred, referred by a teacher, or referred by a parent.
